      Email Etiquette

When sending an email, how it is written makes a big difference in how it is received.

A couple of quick tips on email ettiquette.
Do not put your message in the subject line.
Create a subject that briefly summarizes the purpose of the email.
      Start with a formal introduction.

           Dear Mr./Mrs./Ms.

Write a paragraph explaining what you need, be polite.
      End with a formal salutation.

      Thank you,
           Mr. Van Hoorn

Email is another form of communication and how you communicate often impacts how you are responded to.
